An exciting opportunity at Faithful to Nature has become available for Sales Consultants at our new store in Somerset West.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to make customers feel welcome in our store. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services, and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold company brand and standards at all times.
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.
  • Maximize store sales targets and encourage multiple sales.
  • Provide customers with up-to-date advice and general knowledge of our products and environment.
  • Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times.
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers in store.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and services.
  • Replenish store floor with merchandise.
  • Ensure all fixtures, prongs, and shopfitting are fixed and used correctly.
  • Follow directives from store management to ensure the store's successful operation.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy at all times.
  • Unpack stock according to FtN procedures.
  • Adhere to stock control procedures for all incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as daily banking, target sheets, admin cross-checks, and disbursement controls.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Matric or NQF equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1-2 years of retail and customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness to assist customers.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Strong listening, oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Administrative orientation and responsibility.
  • Persuasive sales ability and interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of products and ideas.
  • Own reliable transport.
