What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Paid Search Specialist to manage the strategy, execution, and performance of paid search marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads across 2U's global portfolio of degree, boot camp, and executive education programs.

This person will be responsible for delivering lead volume and revenue within cost-per-acquisition and ROI targets for an assigned portfolio of accounts with substantial budgets.

The role involves creative testing, media innovation, and automation strategy.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated analytical skills and is motivated to become an expert in digital marketing.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  1. Managing the strategy, execution, and performance of paid search marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  2. Ensuring pacing to budget and meeting lead volume and revenue targets within cost-per-acquisition and ROI goals.
  3. Developing hypotheses and executing A/B tests to inform business decisions on creative, audience targeting, and platform capabilities.
  4. Using data analysis and platform expertise to optimize campaigns and generate actionable insights.
  5. Performing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
  6. Building reports to monitor KPIs and communicate performance trends.
  7. Collaborating with marketing stakeholders to optimize performance and prioritize work based on business impact.
  8. Identifying opportunities for audience, geography, and channel expansion.
  9. Staying updated on industry best practices and applying them as appropriate.
What You Should Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in paid search media management, including text-based search campaigns and PMAX campaigns; DemandGen experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Motivation to become an expert in digital marketing.
  • Self-motivated and process-oriented thinking.
  • Strong business writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
