The role involves managing partnerships, leading a high-performing team, and contributing to workforce development. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in business development and a passion for educational impact.

We collaborate with top universities such as Imperial College London, The London School of Economics, The University of Edinburgh, and Stellenbosch University to deliver structured technical courses and bootcamps that fast-track individuals into fulfilling tech careers. Recognized as a top education technology startup worldwide and backed by Meta, we are acknowledged as the most socially impactful startup in Africa, where we initially started our work.
Our mission is to close the global tech skills gap by integrating tech education with human mentorship and expert code review, powered by a workforce in Southern Africa. This approach reduces the cost of accessible technology education, enabling us to reach millions of learners annually across over 60 countries. We partner with government entities like the UK's Department for Education, which provides scholarships for our bootcamps, leading to employment in organizations such as AstraZeneca and the NHS.
Backed by nearly 2000 investors and having raised the largest crowdfunding round for an ed-tech company, we are a profitable, scale-up tech business committed to creating a more stable, safe, and fair world.
As our Head of Employer Partnerships & Learnerships, you will join the senior leadership team and own our employer-facing strategy across EMEA. Your role involves setting the direction for engaging with companies to unlock training and talent acquisition opportunities through learnerships, corporate upskilling, and custom B2B training initiatives.
You will also lead the growth of employer-funded revenue, including sales of bootcamps and certificate programs. A key responsibility is managing a high-performing team of Business Development Managers and support staff to achieve over R20 million in annual revenue through strategic business development.
This is a mission-driven role for someone passionate about education's transformative power. You will have the opportunity to shape careers and drive large-scale workforce development, helping thousands unlock their potential.
We seek a commercially savvy, impact-oriented leader with proven experience in acquiring, maintaining, and growing learnership partnerships, and building scalable high-performing business development teams in fast-paced environments.
