Position: Financial Director

We're looking for a Financial Director to join our senior management team at our Johannesburg office.

Responsibilities:

1. Project liaison with our banking partners
2. Reporting requirements to our shareholders and funders
3. Cash flow forecasting for our development spend
4. Oversee cash-at-hand management to cover all development expenses on a rolling one-year basis
5. Manage capital optimisation to ensure funds are effectively allocated to project development
6. Handle basic finance management functions such as payroll, annual accounting, etc.

Team Structure:

Manage three distinct units within the company, each with its own budget and targets.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience in development spend and dealing with banks
2. Managing larger project finance elements (R million scale)
3. Producing cash flow forecasts for projects ranging from R2 million to R10 million
4. Controlling oversight of multiple projects across different provinces in South Africa
5. Experience in energy or infrastructure projects is advantageous
