Job description

Financial Manager (Car Rental Agency)

Location: Isando, Gauteng

Salary: R75k basic pm

Type: Permanent, Full Time

A leading Car Rental Group is seeking a Financial Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the full financial accounting function, including inventory, debtors, creditors, VAT, fixed assets, general ledger, company taxation, cash flow, forex, and insurance.
2. Review and submit monthly flash results and management accounts.
3. Prepare quarterly board packs and facilitate the audit process.
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monitor cash flows to predict future trends.
5. Produce financial reports related to debtors and creditors.
6. Ensure governance and compliance, including internal controls.
7. Manage and develop finance staff, including KPI setting.
8. Manage finance systems and internal controls.
9. Assist the General Manager with ad hoc projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA(SA) qualification.
• Minimum of 3+ years as a Financial Manager.
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably in the Automotive industry.
• 3+ years of corporate experience and people management.
• SAGE ERP systems knowledge is advantageous.
