Primary Responsibilities

1. Serve tables as directed, delivering food and beverages promptly.
2. Have thorough knowledge of the menu, food and beverage preparation, and pricing.
3. Use a computer to input orders and generate checks.
4. Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
5. Handle payments, including cash and credit cards.
6. Maintain cleanliness and perform side-work in the restaurant and kitchen.
7. Clear and prepare tables, ensuring cleanliness.
8. Check IDs to verify legal drinking age; politely refuse service to underage guests.
9. Monitor guest behavior when serving alcohol; follow procedures if a guest appears impaired, including suggesting transportation options.
10. Escalate guest service issues to management if unresolved.
11. Ensure guest satisfaction during meals.
12. Report to work in a neat uniform, maintaining personal hygiene and grooming.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of server experience; hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
• Relevant health and/or alcohol service certifications.
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
