We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Group Finance team as we scale up and promote digital and financial inclusion across our markets. Leading a team, you will play a pivotal role in preparing M-KOPA for its planned IPO on the London Stock Exchange by overseeing group financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting.

You will serve as a key advisor and executor across financial control, system implementation, and automation initiatives, fostering reporting excellence organization-wide.

About Us

As Senior Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and compliant consolidated financial statements, managing the reporting calendar, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring adherence to IFRS and GAAP standards.

You will oversee financial operations and reporting for non-operational entities, ensuring effective review and management of tax matters, balance sheet reconciliations, and foreign exchange exposures.

Working closely with regional finance leads, auditors, and internal teams, you will deliver insights that support high-quality financial decisions. Your role is crucial in building systems and processes that support automation, enhance data integrity, and scale our financial reporting across multiple regions.

You will report to the Director of Financial Reporting.

Expertise

We seek a qualified finance professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a CPA or CA designation. You should have over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, including more than 5 years in leadership roles.

Strong technical expertise in IFRS / GAAP, financial consolidation systems, ERP platforms, and analytical reporting is essential. We value a collaborative leader passionate about building strong teams and implementing scalable financial systems.

You should be solution-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of communicating complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
