Job summary

Core Group, a leading Apple Premium Reseller in Africa, is seeking an Insurance Claims Administrator to join their team at the iStore Head Office in Sandton. The role involves processing short-term claims, managing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance within the claims process. Candidates should have a Senior Matric Certificate, experience in MS Excel, and at least 2 years of experience in short-term insurance claims.

Position : Insurance Claims Administrator

Location : iStore Head Office, Sandton

Type : Full-time

Reports to : GM Products and Services

Required Qualifications

Senior Matric Certificate

Tertiary qualification advantageous

Experience in MS Excel required

2 years of short-term insurance claims experience

Role Purpose

Assist with processing short-term claims

Manage and maintain customer relationships and meet various KPIs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Ensure compliance within the claims process

Register claims and liaise with assessors, stores, and internal supply chain on claim fulfillment

Update tasks and ensure they are continuously maintained

Assist with stock management for insurance and related administration

Update client files and data on CRM system

Follow up and provide feedback to clients

Maintain accurate and timely communication and build relationships

Handle claims queries and general inquiries

Review policies at renewal stage, including in-house servicing and amendments

Liaise with insurance partners on compliance and administrative issues

Ensure internal claim fulfillment and processing, including financial implications

Manage communication with all parties involved in claims fulfillment

Apply policy terms and conditions

Manage recoveries and settlements, including communicating excess requirements

Flexibility – Adaptability to different situations and changes

Discipline – Punctuality, strong attendance, responsiveness to customers

Efficiency – Perform at high standards and exceed job requirements

Proactive Risk Identification – Awareness and reporting of potential risks
