Strategic Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading player in the carbonated soft drinks (CSD) industry in East Africa, seeking a seasoned and visionary General Manager to lead operations at a cutting-edge, high production facility in Tanzania. Lead 2000 staff. 2-year fixed contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality assurance, logistics, sales, and regulatory compliance.
2. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
3. Build and lead cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Ensure compliance with industry safety, environmental, and quality standards.
5. Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to shape product and sales strategies.
6. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
2. At least 15 years of leadership experience in beverage or FMCG manufacturing, including 8+ years in senior management.
3. Deep understanding of carbonated soft drink production processes and bottling technology.
4. Proven success in market development, operational leadership, and team performance.
5. Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Package & Remuneration

NET SALARY

8500 USD – 10,000 USD per month dependent on experience and qualification
