GENERAL SUMMARY

This role involves cleaning and disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly, including general sanitation of plant work areas, production tools, and mixing equipment in the Steam Room. The schedule is swing shift, typically from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly.
• Performing sanitation of plant work areas and cleaning tools and equipment from food production lines in the Steam Rooms.
• Cleaning equipment during shift changeovers.
• General janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers, and other tasks as assigned.
• Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical handling procedures, PPE usage, lockout/tagout procedures, and passing required training within 3 months of hire.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks is preferred.

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Ability to grip and maneuver pressure cleaning hoses, operate equipment, stand and walk during the shift.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
