Position: Sales Account Manager for Africa

The Sales Account Manager for Africa will serve as the primary contact for customers, industrial partners, and channel partners in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales prospecting for new business and managing existing accounts, including direct accounts, resellers, and reseller customers.
  • Selling the full Esko portfolio with a focus on value selling, particularly in Software and Flexo CTP for customers.
  • Providing effective solutions, identifying and expanding sales opportunities in collaboration with the application sales manager.
  • Establishing strong business relationships, generating competitive proposals, and pursuing targeted project strategies.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Staying informed about market developments and opportunities, following up diligently, and applying effective sales, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Implementing go-to-market strategies for new products and markets.
  • Providing market intelligence, including competitor pricing and positioning, to support marketing strategies.
  • Using Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage sales processes and share information efficiently.
  • Representing Esko in the graphic arts community and observing market trends.

Qualifications and Professional Knowledge:

  • Hands-on sales experience in a high-tech B2B environment, digital printing, packaging, or commercial solutions/IT.
  • Practical experience with direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Knowledge of the packaging industry is a plus.
  • Broad understanding of software and IT applications.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Good command of English and French; additional languages are advantageous.
