Dire Wolf is a bespoke insurance advisory firm specialising in tailored risk solutions for high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and large corporates. We take a strategic approach to commercial insurance by deeply understanding our clients’ needs and the broader market landscape.

We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the operational workflow, ensuring seamless administrative processes, and maintaining high standards of client service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in project management tools (such as Monday.com) and familiarity with administrative processes in insurance operations will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general operational and administrative support.
  • Manage and maintain internal data and systems.
  • Coordinate all aspects of policy servicing, including renewals, amendments, and endorsements.
  • Create and analyse quote comparisons for client proposals.
  • Provide administrative support across the full claims process including documentation, progress tracking, and liaison with relevant parties.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and service providers as needed.
  • Manage client communication, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Support complaints handling and ensure a high standard of service.
  • Serve as a primary contact for insurer and client communication.
  • Follow up on outstanding requirements with insurers and clients to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure clear, professional, and timely client interactions via phone and email.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent NQF4 qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of administration experienceincluding direct client liaison
  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to technology platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and client service approach.
  • Proficiency in Monday.com, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high work standards.
  • General knowledge of Short- and Long-term insurance administration is beneficial
