Job Description: Key Account Business Development Executive

We are seeking a skilled Key Account Business Development Executive to oversee relationships with our company's key clients.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients.
  2. Understand key customer needs and requirements thoroughly.
  3. Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  4. Ensure timely delivery of the correct products and services to customers.
  5. Act as the communication link between key customers and internal teams.
  6. Resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain trust.
  7. Generate new sales to foster long-lasting relationships.
  8. Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts using key account metrics.
  9. Host and manage demo days/events to introduce products and grow product offerings.
  10. Demo LiquiMoly products to clients to expand market presence.
  11. Conduct field visits to identify opportunities and add value.
  12. Manage stock rotation and negotiate retail floor space for product displays.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a key account manager, FMCG experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales and customer solution provision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and growth mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within SA.
  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ).
