Job description

Job Title: T1 Productivity Manager

The key purpose of this role is to track, measure, and continuously drive T1 productivity within BUSA.

This entails working closely with the T1 Carriers, SAB Breweries, and SAB DCs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Align the T1 operation and T1 productivity measures to global KPIs and standards.
  2. Define T1 productivity KPI's and PI's linked to the overall Zone and BU Logistics strategy and goals (GFP; ATCT; WPS vs MPL; HL / Load; ADT; Load factor; Travel Standard Adherence, etc.).
  3. Measure, report, and track productivity and safety on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  4. Identify productivity improvement opportunities, prepare, and close out actions for routine MCRS Meetings with Director / VP.
  5. Analyze and engage with carrier, brewery, and DC activities and operations.
  6. Create Carrier Scorecards (Dedicated and Non-Dedicated), including Safety, ATCT, Travel Standard Adherence, Claims, at a minimum.
  7. Manage discussions between all stakeholders impacting T1 productivity (Weekly Carrier Productivity Meetings, Weekly BLM / RLM SLA Meetings & Action Log Management).
  8. Develop T1 Truck Sizing Models and Routine Truck Sizing Sign-Offs aligning to business requirements.
  9. Define and update T1 SOPs for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Provide key input into the budgeting process for BU South Africa T1 Transport and Warehouse.
  11. Manage Transport Scheduling & Blocks for T1 (LCP).
  12. Scope, engage, and execute approved projects (Project Management).

Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-year tertiary degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Logistics.
  • Excellent presentation skills with clear communication.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of key ABInBev operations.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
