QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Post Graduate Degree in a relevant Finance or Accounting field.
- Certificate in Business Management or HR Management.
- Registered Professional with a relevant Institution as a Chartered Accountant.
- Proficiency in PC – MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ACCPAC / SAGE.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a senior financial role and 5 years as a Chartered Accountant.
- Preferably with a background in the power industry.
- Experience in financial management, reporting, policies, procedures, project finance, loan structuring, and internal controls.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate between the Business and the Board of Directors with the General Manager.
- Prepare financial models, assist with financing and loan structuring, and ensure optimal debt positioning.
- Ensure financial goals and operational performance targets are met.
- Assist in preparing the Annual Operating Plan and budget.
- Maintain financial reporting systems in compliance with management, shareholders, tax authorities, and other agencies.
- Ensure full compliance with all finance and reporting requirements, including statutory and lender requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, manage treasury functions, and oversee investments.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on performance, outlook, and indebtedness.
- Maintain accurate project models and reports for management and the Board.
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee reconciliations, invoicing, payroll, tax compliance, stock control, and fixed assets management.
- Manage insurance financing, creditor payments, and internal controls.
- Provide strategic financial advice, lead audits, and improve internal systems.
