Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in food, consumer goods, or packaging sectors. They should possess 2-3 years of supervisory experience and be familiar with standards such as BRC, FSSC 22000, or ISO22000. Experience with internal auditing and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills are also required.

Responsibilities
  1. Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as necessary.
  2. Communicate effectively with diverse groups within the organization.
  3. Apply problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
  4. Be adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
  5. Inspect in-process and final products for conformance to standards and customer specifications using appropriate instruments and plans.
  6. Report, investigate, and control issues related to supplier, in-process, and non-conforming products, as well as waste management.
  7. Ensure timely release of products to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Conduct product, environmental, and microbiological sampling and interpret results.
  9. Monitor performance and attendance of Data Collectors and identify development needs.
  10. Support and guide team members to perform their duties effectively.
  11. Assist Production Supervisors and Team Leaders with investigations and quality improvements related to waste and reworks.
  12. Report recurring issues with instruments or devices needing repair.
  13. Maintain documentation related to product inspections and test results.
  14. Store and manage final product documentation such as COC and COA.
  15. Perform regular verification of testing equipment and GMP inspections as per standards.
  16. Conduct monthly stock takes of non-conforming products.
