Job Title: Site Supervisor - KwaZulu-Natal (Durban)

Description

The purpose of this role is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to required hygiene standards. The Site Supervisor is responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals safely, ensuring site safety, and making sure that teams perform tasks punctually.

Summary of Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site daily.
2. Manage and achieve the budgeted man-hours and purchases in their section.
3. Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with all statutory safety regulations.
4. Manage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff.
5. Handle all operational activities in their section, including problem solving.
6. Maintain customer relationships, meet customer expectations, and minimize plant damage and downtime.

Requirements

• Grade 12 education.
• Deep cleaning experience is essential.
• Chemical stock control experience is essential.
• Exposure to industrial relations.
