Job description

A Gold Mining Company based in Gauteng has a challenging opportunity for a Plant Mechanical Foreman. The role is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of plans to manage Seriti Coal’s Engineering Assets, Resources, and Infrastructure – availability of machinery and equipment and managing resources and people to achieve planned production targets.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 7)
• Relevant Trade Test in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years’ experience as an Engineering Foreman in the mining industry
• Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa
• Member of the South African Engineering Association
• Safety & Risk Management Course
