Job description

Job Title: Senior Raw Material Planner

Purpose: Responsible for planning, scheduling, and ordering raw materials used in the manufacturing facility to achieve and maintain KPI targets (PIR / golden rules / best practices, SLOB, etc.).

Responsibilities:
  1. Follow parameterization in SAP.
  2. Identify and resolve shortages through efficient scheduling to ensure appropriate inventory levels following corporate standards.
  3. Ensure timely response to customer needs (internal and external) by managing realistic daily plans considering capacity and raw material availability.
  4. Work under standards of quality, safety, industrial hygiene, and good practices.
  5. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  6. Track orders and escalate problems to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Resolve issues or escalate as necessary, communicating with involved areas.
  8. Achieve service level targets.
  9. Control obsolescence using SLOB tools for inventory at risk assessment.
  10. Provide mid-long term forecasts to procurement.
  11. Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly status reports (e.g., COOISPI schedule, OTS, past due purchase orders).
  12. Review customer orders for raw materials resale demands.
  13. Create repack process orders as needed and release to production.
  14. Resolve or escalate order-related issues, collaborating with production, customer care, and regional/global affiliates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade, or related fields.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in the area.
  • Technical Skills: APICS Certification (desired), ERP/MRP expertise, strong affinity for systems and analytical tools (desired SAP, BI, BO), fluent in English, proficient in Microsoft Office.
