Job description
Responsibilities:
- Establishes, develops and maintains relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identifies sales opportunities.
- Negotiates and closes sales deals.
- Makes telephone calls and conducts in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Ensures customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Answers technical questions from potential and existing customers.
- Attends trade shows and conferences and provides feedback on new products, pricing, and market conditions.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Administration:
- Prepares and presents bids and quotations that meet specific customer expectations and project requirements.
- Maintains a database of information for sales prospects and existing customers.
- Keeps accurate records of all invoiced sales and commission.
- Collects information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant sales experience in the Mpumalanga area (Secunda).
- Matric Certificate.
- Diploma in marketing/sales.
- Diploma/trades test in electronics with 3-5 years experience in electronic sales, preferably in the mining industry.
