Senior Technical Architect - Broadcast (12 Months FTC)

Join Arqiva as a Senior Technical Architect in Broadcast for a 12-month fixed-term contract. We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment, with travel required to our Winchester or London offices once or twice a week.

• Up to £97,000 base salary

Role Overview:

As a Senior Technical Architect, you will lead the design of architectural solutions, platform, and supplier integrations for Broadcast Playout. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Product Managers, and Platform Owners to drive strategic growth aligned with our Playout Growth Vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expand and innovate within the Media & Broadcast Playout portfolio.
2. Develop and maintain a portfolio of Broadcast Playout technologies.
3. Build relationships with stakeholders including customers, platform teams, partners, and suppliers.
4. Support RFP completion, provide consultancy, and produce high-level design documentation.
5. Lead vendor selection, influence technical decisions, and ensure compliance with design principles.
6. Participate in pre-sales activities and customer engagement.
7. Develop best practices, design patterns, and participate in continuous improvement.
8. Manage stakeholder relationships and influence technical and operational strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Outstanding stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in technical and delivery leadership.
• Exceptional communication skills, including executive presentations.
• Experience as a technical/solution architect in Broadcast Playout.
• Knowledge of industry frameworks like TM Forum or TOGAF is preferred.
• Experience with Media Supply Chain, Scheduling, Systems, and Workflow.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
