Job description

Our client based in Sandton is seeking a Sotho Speaking Customer Service Advisor.

The key objective of the role is to identify and understand customer needs, deliver first-class customer service to increase the profitability of the business, and remain committed to treating customers fairly.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Answering calls and responding to customer requests
  2. Providing customers with product and service information
  3. Identifying, researching, and resolving customer issues using the in-house operating system
  4. Completing call logs and reports
  5. Assisting irate members and escalating when required to senior agents or team leaders
  6. Ensuring productivity levels are maintained and quality standards are met
  7. Performing daily administrative functions and accurately capturing information in CRM systems
  8. Adhering to company policies, supporting business processes, and ensuring compliance with legislation
  9. Monitoring SLA adherence and case completion times
  10. Maintaining customer quality standards

Requirements:

  • Passed Grade 12
  • Fluent in Sotho (Read, Write, Speak)
  • Fluent in English (Read, Write, Speak)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Clear criminal record
  • Available immediately
  • Own transport (advantage)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12 months unbroken inbound call centre experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Administrative experience
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial, or administrative industries, with knowledge of relevant legislation (highly desirable)

Salary and working hours:

The salary is competitive. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and every second Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00.
