As a Technical Consultant, you will lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a connected, compassionate world.

A Day in the Life

This role involves driving Spinal Fusion, Neuromodulation, ENT, and Navigation therapies. A key responsibility is to accelerate the adoption of these innovative therapies.

This position is based in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. In return, Medtronic provides world-class training, development opportunities, and a challenging, varied role.

1. Achieving sales revenue and market share targets by supporting Neuro & Ortho surgeons in procedures.
2. Conducting on-site education, consulting, and maintaining customer relations with healthcare professionals.
3. Providing technical expertise through presentations, demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of products.
4. Supporting marketing activities and ensuring high product knowledge.
5. Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Travel requirement: less than 50%. Certification needed: CRICE.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science/Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry or hospital environment, with Neuroscience technical consulting experience.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and familiarity with OR sterilization and radiation protocols.
• Flexibility, dedication, hands-on approach, and good presentation skills.
• English proficiency (B2 and above).
