We are seeking a BS & ES Product Marketing Specialist for the Midrand Area. The candidate should be comfortable and experienced in B2B Marketing.
Job Summary
- Responsible for marketing the ID / IT and AE business units, managing all aspects of marketing including ATL, BTL, TTL, in collaboration with supporting departments to achieve marketing objectives and goals.
Key Duties
Campaign Management
- Develop and implement new product introductions through strategic ATL and BTL initiatives, including television, print, online, public relations, launches, activations, promotions, and point of sale.
- Manage BTL activities: compile briefs, collaborate with creative agencies, oversee creative layouts and content, and liaise for approvals.
- Project manage product launches aligned with new product introduction strategies.
- Brief and manage media agencies for optimal media strategies for NPI.
- Brief and manage creative agencies to adapt global creative for local NPI campaigns.
- Manage PR agencies to develop initiatives that maximize exposure and enhance brand and product awareness.
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to ensure maximum ROI.
Digital Marketing
- Develop and oversee digital marketing activities for the ID / IT and AE units in collaboration with agencies.
- Provide digital assets to ensure website updates align with NPI strategies.
- Brief digital marketing and PR agencies on SNS and digital requirements as per NPI and ongoing needs.
Budget Management
- Manage and update monthly marketing budgets for assigned business units.
- Oversee total budget spend for ID / IT and AE units.
- Process payments to agencies and vendors.
- Follow global procurement procedures for value maximization and cost savings.
- Develop annual marketing plans and budgets.
Product Marketing
- Distribute product and campaign information to sales teams for relevant accounts.
Events and Activation Management
- Manage NPI, consumer, and trade shows, coordinating with event management companies and agencies.
- Ensure all elements of the show—concept, collateral, budget, stock, briefing, giveaways, merchandising—are within timelines for success.
Reporting
- Provide reports and analysis as needed.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, plans, and contact reports.
Organizational Influence
- Engage with internal teams: Product Management, Corporate Marketing, GTM, Export Sales, Sales/KAM, Service, Finance, Procurement.
Logistics
External interactions include media, creative, PR, BTL agencies, trade customers, journalists, and production agencies, focusing on marketing strategies, assets, and specifications.
Required Experience
- B Com Marketing / B Com Management / Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
- 3–5 years relevant experience.
- Experience in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of marketing, sales, and warehouse procedures.
- Proven customer relations skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to use databases for reporting.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
