Job Title: Shared Services and Finance Coordinator

We are excited to announce a vacancy within our dynamic team. The primary function of this role is to champion the adoption of shared service positions, which are pivotal in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Shared services are a strategic approach to doing business, focusing on consolidating tasks, eliminating redundancies, and optimizing workflows to achieve substantial savings and improve competitiveness.

Responsibilities
  1. Primary Functions
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll, including wages, deductions, and taxes, ensuring regulatory compliance. Handle inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Account Management: Maintain receivable and payable records, manage invoicing, reconcile transactions, monitor cash flow, and prepare financial statements for decision-making.
  • Filing and Administration: Manage documentation, records, and ensure proper organization and retrieval.
  • Scheduling and Meeting Preparation: Coordinate schedules, prepare agendas, distribute minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Statutory Compliance: Monitor and ensure timely submissions of tax and regulatory documents.
  • Secondary Functions
    • Accounting Services: Provide accounting support up to trial balance for owned filling stations, Prop Co, and Dev Co. Manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and oversee reporting.
    • Administrative Support: Act as a Personal Assistant to directors and financial managers, managing schedules and travel arrangements.
    Qualifications & Experience
    • Solid background in finance or accounting, with experience in payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and financial statement preparation.
    • Experience in a shared services environment, demonstrating workflow optimization.
    • Familiarity with statutory compliance, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and payroll systems.
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certifications are advantageous.
    • Several years of relevant work experience, with industry-specific experience preferred.
