TITLE: Technical Project Manager – Legal Technology

LEVEL: Senior Associate

JOB TYPE: Full Time (Hybrid) | Remote

About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience in Document Management Systems (DMS) and digital transformation within legal or professional services environments. This individual will play a critical role in leading document management initiatives, ensuring that systems are implemented, optimized, and aligned with business, compliance, and user needs.

You will serve as the central point of coordination across cross-functional teams including IT, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors to deliver high-impact document management projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for legal technology initiatives (implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Oversee configuration, testing, training, and rollout of legal technology platforms (e.g., NetDocuments, iManage, SharePoint, M-Files, Onit, Mitratech, etc.).
  • Manage system integrations with other tools (CRM, eBilling, workflow, contract management platforms, etc.).
  • Coordinate data migration strategies and ensure accuracy, compliance, and minimal business disruption.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, dashboards, and reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage change control, and communicate project updates effectively.
  • Champion user adoption and continuous improvement of the internal project management process and tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or similar certification.
  • Preferred knowledge of legal technology offerings (NetDocuments, iManage, SharePoint, Onit, Mitratech, etc.).
  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT or digital transformation projects in corporate or legal environments.
  • Solid understanding of compliance, data privacy, and records management standards in the U.S. market.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
