Logistics Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing Clients, suppliers, and drivers
• Managing Intercity transport operations
• Quoting Clients on Intercity transport and deliveries
• Acquiring new customers for warehousing, local distribution, and Intercity transport
• Achieving budgetary objectives
• Maintaining high quality customer service
• Afterhours offloading/loading of vehicles as required
• Ensuring efficiency in warehousing, local distribution, and Intercity transport
• Developing and maintaining relationships with third party service providers and clients
• Managing vehicles, services, licensing, etc.
• Managing inventory, stock counts, rotation, orders, FIFO, and checking correct products are loaded
• Administrative functions (including but not limited to capturing manifests, trip-sheets, and other admin related activities)
• Any other activity related to logistics management as required

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Must have a minimum of matric, a diploma or degree beneficiary.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management role within the industry
