Job Title: Chief Investments Officer (CIO)

Key Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement Sedfa's investment and lending plans to support small enterprises.
• Lending Policies: Develop and oversee the implementation of sound lending policies, guidelines, and business plans.
• Process Management: Guide the effective management of lending and investment processes.
• Regional Operations: Oversee regional office networks and co-locations for efficient functioning and alignment with Sedfa's goals.
• Business Development: Develop strategic business development plans and strategies to achieve growth objectives.
• Enterprise Development: Oversee Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises and Co-operatives Development initiatives.
• Risk Management: Lead the development of Sedfa's vision for lending risk management.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government, financial institutions, and industry partners.
• Fund Management: Manage and optimize Fund and Investments Management.
• Integration: Ensure integration of risk, compliance, and audit practices in all division processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Education: NQF Level 8 in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. NQF Level 9 is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in financial services lending or development finance sector, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
