Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Business Analyst with beneficial testing experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL, CMMI, PCMM, and software architecture is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate the development of a Business Case by acting as a consultant to the client
2. Document and understand client requirements using the Customer Requirements Specification
3. Design and validate functional solutions by interpreting the CRS into a set of Product Requirements Specifications
4. Build and demonstrate GUI prototypes to validate the designs
5. Propose solutions by reviewing the approved Customer Requirement Specification and Product Requirement Specifications
6. Test solutions by applying the test basket
7. Update and publish release notes related to system changes, maintain and update all related documentation, and perform live monitoring of the new systems during go-live
8. Respond to incidents and conduct preliminary analysis of issues
9. Document the SLA
10. Participate in internal forums such as the Business Analyst Work Group

Education And Experience:

1. Informatics or relevant degree (Bachelor’s degree – beneficial)
2. Minimum 1 year experience as a BA (beneficial if experienced in testing)
3. Business experience and product knowledge is advantageous
4. Knowledge of ITIL, CMMI, PCMM
5. Technical knowledge of SQL, UML, XML, OO
6. Knowledge of software architecture, facilitating JAD sessions, data modelling techniques, industry compliance and legislation
