The Sales Manager at MORE Field Guide College is responsible for generating business and student enrolment. They will play a pivotal role in acquiring business and driving revenue and growth for the College. They need a strategic and proactive hands-on approach to achieve these goals.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Sales - Domestic and International
- Develop new relationships to acquire business for both MORE Field Guide College and Nakavango. Engage via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings to stay top of mind with agents.
- Implement a lead generation strategy to attract students, agents, sponsors, and partners through partnerships, marketing, networking, trade shows, and relationship building.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with goals, including target setting, market identification, and process refinement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats, communicating insights to the team.
- Build a database to identify potential donors, philanthropists, and corporate sponsors.
- Understand and align with corporate social investment (CSI) goals of partners.
- Review and optimize the sales process to increase conversion rates.
- Manage a CRM system for tracking and follow-up.
- Create sales collateral like brochures and presentations.
- Report on sales performance and forecasts, utilizing data for decisions.
- Provide training for agents to enhance product knowledge.
- Establish feedback loops between sales and enrolment teams.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to increase enrolment.
- Prepare for sales trips, including logistics and appointments.
- Maintain records of sales activities.
After-Sales Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students post-enrolment for high service quality.
- Assist with logistics like travel, accommodation, and visas.
- Serve as the main contact point for enrolled students.
- Generate referrals through alumni networks.
- Engage regularly with alumni and their families to foster loyalty.
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Grade 12; Degree/Diploma in Sales Management is advantageous.
- At least 4 years hospitality experience; 2 years sales experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office; Opera knowledge is a plus.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own transport.
- Knowledge of products and markets is advantageous.
