Purpose of the Position
The IT Technician will assist the IT team in maintaining and co-administering the company's IT systems.
Primary Duties
- Maintain computer and IT hardware, software, and related systems.
- Replace faulty IT hardware components when necessary.
- Work closely with system users to identify and resolve issues.
Qualifications / Experience
- Working knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Networking knowledge: LAN, WAN, IPSEC, TCP/IP.
- Skilled in Active Directory and Azure.
- Experience with printer management.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is advantageous.
- Certifications such as MCSE / MCSA, or IT courses like A+, N+, CompTIA are preferred.
Required Outputs and Responsibilities
- Manage daily technical operations.
- Assist in overseeing secure, efficient server and network architecture.
- Support Help Desk services to ensure effective assistance.
- Assist in managing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide hardware and software support to employees.
