Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Finance Manager to join them in Alberton, Gauteng. The Finance Manager will be a Chartered Accountant or have completed Honours and articles. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the financial management function of the company. ERP System experience required in SAP / SYSPRO etc.

POSITION INFO :

Job Title : Finance Manager

Geographical area : Alberton, Gauteng

The successful incumbent will be responsible for :

• Managing the administration department together with the finance department. 8-10 direct reports
• Responsible for all financial transactions up to trial balance
• Preparation of financial reports
• Preparation of management accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow management
• Budgeting and forecasting

Minimum qualifications and experience :

• B Compt (Hons) (Bachelor of Accounting Science) plus articles or Chartered Accountant
• At least 5-7 years’ experience required as a Financial Manager or Group Accountant
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Knowledge of an ERP software system such as Syspro or SAP
• Very good MS Excel knowledge
