Job Description

STI Group is seeking full-time schedulers for upcoming industrial turnarounds and capital projects. Mechanical and Civil experience preferred and travel is required. Candidates must be experienced in building and maintaining a Level 5 Primavera P6 schedule as well as its utilization to support the project planning and execution teams.

Scheduler Duties And Responsibilities

1. Develop, optimize, and maintain a resource loaded, logic linked schedule for the scope of work.
2. Review completed work packages for accuracy and thoroughness.
3. Perform schedule manpower leveling in order to identify and optimize resource requirements.
4. Assign activity and resource codes as needed to enable efficient reporting and filtering.
5. Track and report on critical path activities in order to aid the project execution team in determining the proper prioritization of work.
6. Provide schedule and progress reports and updates during the project.
7. Generate predefined look-ahead schedules and ad hoc reports on an as needed basis.
8. Integrate project scope changes and/or discovery work into the schedule to help determine manpower and schedule duration impacts.

Qualifications, Experience, And Special Requirements

1. Minimum three years experience scheduling industrial construction.
2. Demonstrated experience in planning for capital and/or turnaround events.
3. Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
4. Proficient in developing, leveling, and maintaining resource loaded schedules.
5. Ability to optimize schedules based on event goals, manpower, etc.
6. Capable of effectively reporting and explaining complex scheduling scenarios.
7. Ability to interact and work with others as a team.
8. Capable of leading scheduling meetings during the planning and execution stages.
9. Experience troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Computer Skills

1. Proficient using Primavera P6 (mandatory requirement).
2. Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
