Main Purpose
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead: Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring communication and implementation within the team.
- Sales: Responsible for selling company products, services, and solutions within a designated territory in conjunction with the Sales Executive & RAM. Meets and maintains sales targets, establishes and develops customer relationships, identifies sales opportunities, negotiates and closes deals, and coordinates sales efforts with marketing and management.
- Customer Service: Expedites resolution of customer problems and complaints, ensuring customer and stakeholder satisfaction. Handles technical questions, attends trade shows, and provides feedback on market conditions.
- Administration: Prepares and presents bids and quotations, develops annual business plans, maintains sales prospect databases, keeps accurate sales records, schedules customer visits, and compiles monthly reports. Also involves researching industry trends and competitors.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric with maths and science.
- 3–5 years of experience in electronic sales, preferably in the mining industry.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Product line management experience.
- Valid driver's license.
