This role focuses on our Financial Services products, aiming to diversify offerings in a multi-country, multi-language, multi-product, and multi-channel environment.

The Agile Senior Business Analyst reports directly to the Head of Product Domain: Financial Services. Internal liaison includes Product Owners, Agile Development Teams (Developers, QA, Scrum Master), Business Leaders, Users, Project Management, and Application Support.

External liaison involves third parties—partners, suppliers, and customers. Some travel may be required from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with stakeholders across all levels to elicit requirements.
2. Assist stakeholders, Product Owners, and Scrum teams in prioritizing work to maximize ROI.
3. Facilitate requirements gathering via interviews, workshops, etc.
4. Analyze business needs, document requirements, and translate into user stories.
5. Communicate needs effectively to both business and technical stakeholders.
6. Maintain a backlog of requirements ready for sprints.
7. Support Scrum teams in understanding customer and business requirements.
8. Liaise with the development team for work estimation.
9. Collaborate with QA to ensure functionality aligns with requirements.
10. Assist in drafting user and training documentation.
11. Liaise with industry partners for service integration and product offerings.
12. Manage personal professional development.

Key Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma with an Information Systems focus (Essential).
• Recognized business analysis, agile, information systems, or UX qualification (Desirable).
• Minimum 3 years experience in Business Analysis or similar role (Essential).
• Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum).
• Experience in customer onboarding and customer service in financial services (Essential).
• Experience with customer self-service channels like WhatsApp and USSD (Desirable).
• Experience in the financial industry (Desirable).
• Experience with REST APIs (Desirable).
• Knowledge of compliance regulations such as KYC and FIC (Desirable).
• Ability to translate requirements into user stories, process diagrams, and data flows.
• Understanding of project scoping, planning, and prioritization.
• Knowledge of agile and UX methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
