Job description

To assist customers in a professional, prompt, and ethical manner, and to promote and sell the company's products, including trailer heavy-duty spares and commercial parts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Effectively and efficiently process email and telephonic orders.
2. Handle telephonic queries, quotations, and sales orders.
3. Manage counter sales and print Notices to Pick for the Dispatch department.
4. Follow up on back orders when parts are unavailable immediately and communicate delivery dates to customers.
5. Maintain Syspro sales order system, ensuring only valid orders are captured.
6. Process and verify orders, and follow up with order acknowledgment.
7. Visit customers (distributors) as required during the month.
8. Process RMAs (Returns from customers).

ADDITIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Handle invoicing, customer service orders, and process back orders as needed; serve as backup to the Invoicing Clerk.
2. Attend daily production meetings on a rotational basis to discuss spare parts issues.
3. Carry out all reasonable and lawful instructions from superiors.
