Refrigeration Specialist - Durban - beBee Careers

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all refrigeration equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
2. Respond to refrigeration callouts within established timeframes.
3. Fault finding and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
4. Manage stock levels to ensure minimum variances and enough stock to deliver quality service.
5. Ensure all administrative documents are completed when stock is returned and/or given to team members.
6. Submit job cards daily.
7. Update outlet record boards within the prescribed manner.
8. Conduct vehicle inspections once a week and submit reports to the Operations Administrators.

Requirements:

• Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1-2 years' customer service experience.
• 1-2 years' refrigeration experience.
• Good knowledge of the geographical area of operation.
• Excellent knowledge of refrigeration equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Office-based role with limited travel required.
