Key Responsibilities

• Provide a positive first impression to every guest through a warm, welcoming individual greeting; always maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Nurture a lasting connection with every guest by showing genuine interest during service and remaining fully engaged throughout the voyage.
• Observe and identify guest preferences, adjusting service accordingly, and anticipating guest needs to offer appropriate responses without prompt.
• Assist the Waiter in creating a comfortable, elegant ambiance by preparing table settings and maintaining service stations according to all Company standards.
• Assist the Waiter in delivering food and beverages as requested, on time, in the correct service order, and follow up to ensure guest needs are met, suggesting solutions to any issues.
• Follow all Company guidelines, policies, and procedures, including USPH protocols.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Graduate of a recognized Catering / Hotel Management School preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant service experience from a four-star hotel or cruise ship.
• Knowledge of food, beverage, and wine menus used throughout the fleet.
• Able to explain pricing, food, wine, and cocktail menus to guests effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure in both Front and Back of House areas.
• Necessary computer skills and knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
• Command of the English language, both verbal and written.
