Job description

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for compiling management accounts, performing detailed data processing, and providing financial insights to help guide key business decisions.

You will be a key member of our finance team, working closely with management and other departments to ensure that all financial processes and reporting are in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Management Accounts Compilation: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Data Processing & Analysis: Process financial data and perform reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Maintain financial records and spreadsheets.
  3. Financial Reporting: Provide clear and concise reports to management, highlighting key financial trends and variances.
  4. Compliance & Regulation: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, IFRS, and other accounting standards. Support external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of best practices within the finance function.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant qualification.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, data processing, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Sage Pastel, Payroll, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
