Responsibilities
  1. Partner with stakeholders to provide financial insights and guidance for operational and decision-making processes.
  2. Monitor and coach behaviors that ensure a service-oriented culture, build rewarding relationships, propose innovations, and enable exceptional client service.
  3. Manage and monitor the effectiveness of the business's financial information systems.
  4. Coordinate the budget preparation process, monitor, and report variances to support decision-making and corrective actions.
  5. Record, analyze, and manage costs with associated drivers for decision-making.
  6. Accurately record, adjust, and reconcile financial transactions and events using relevant principles.
  7. Maintain supporting documentation according to professional standards.
  8. Prepare and report on the business's operations and financial conditions, managing reporting systems and processes.
  9. Maximize productivity through efficient planning and process improvements.
  10. Manage interrelationships between systems, data, and resources for effective project planning and delivery.
  11. Review and prepare tax returns ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing tax advice.

Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Qualification: Bachelor of Accounting Sciences or BCom Accounting degree
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in the financial field post-qualification
