The key purpose of this role is to ensure that all contracts for the Indirects team are compliant and uploaded to Ariba, are valid and tracked for expiration, and that all suppliers with a spend above $200K are properly contracted through follow-ups with the relevant Category Managers.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
SAP Ariba Operations & Onboarding
- Create and manage Ariba Supplier Workspaces to initiate new supplier engagements.
- Support onboarding of internal stakeholders into SAP Ariba, specifically for DAG approvals.
- Ensure timely creation and maintenance of Ariba Contract Workspaces, following submission of final contract templates, legal approvals, and summaries from Category Managers.
- Drive and track DAG approvals before routing contracts for signature.
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Manage procurement contracts end-to-end, from creation and approvals to renewal or termination.
- Ensure all contracts above R95 million / $5 million are reviewed and signed off by relevant parties, including Legal, Internal teams, Category Managers, and the Company Secretary.
- Maintain a centralized contract tracker to provide transparency and ensure compliance with internal policies and timelines.
- Proactively monitor contract expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals with Category Managers.
Spend Analysis & Compliance (WAPT)
- Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure that 100% of supplier spend above $200k is backed by active contracts.
- Perform regular reconciliation between contractual agreements and actual supplier spend in WAPT.
- Identify gaps or misalignments and follow up on corrective actions to ensure audit readiness.
LightHub
- Ticket logging on Lighthub on behalf of the team.
Key Attributes and Competencies:

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in contract management, procurement operations, or supplier onboarding.
- Experience with SAP Ariba.
- Experience in FMCG Industry.
