This role is responsible for delivering 100% uptime support to business operations and ensuring efficient service to end clients by maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Description of Responsibilities
The Facility Operations Manager will oversee the management of various functions including housekeeping, F&B service, front office management, cost optimization, team development, vendor development, IFM services, physical security, engineering services, and travel support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Gather feedback from stakeholders and implement corrective actions to improve service levels.
- Process Implementation: Enforce systems and procedures to ensure 100% uptime and compliance with standards.
- Cost Efficiency: Monitor delivery against budgets and implement waste reduction and process improvements aiming for 5-7% annual savings.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendors to ensure service uptime, develop backup plans, and establish BCP strategies.
- Team Management: Set goals, motivate, and develop the team; oversee training, recognition, retention, and succession planning; ensure transparent appraisals.
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain top-class BPO infrastructure and ensure 100% uptime, including E&M systems.
- Proactive Issue Management: Drive results proactively, anticipate issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Internal Checks & Verifications: Conduct regular audits and physical verifications to ensure system and process compliance.
- Vendor & Resource Optimization: Maximize value, build backups, and ensure 100% uptime.
- Communication & Meetings: Hold regular team meetings to share information and resolve issues.
- Cost Savings: Work towards budget efficiency of 5-7%.
- Capacity & Travel Management: Monitor capacity planning and oversee client visits and travel arrangements.
- Safety & Security: Maintain a safe work environment adhering to OHSAS standards.
- Project & Multi-tasking Skills: Manage multiple projects with high organization skills.
- Continuous Improvement & Compliance: Drive ongoing improvements and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Post Graduate (MBA) with industry-specific knowledge or service industry background, including electro-mechanical, projects, logistics, and travel.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
