BDO Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager / Manager

BDO has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager / Manager.

Reporting as part of the national Transfer Pricing team, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  1. Project Involvement: Act as a point of contact within the firm for clients, working alongside the director. Respond promptly to client requests, keep clients informed of progress, and maintain regular contact.
  2. Advisory Engagements: Manage advisory projects such as transfer pricing strategies and advising foreign multinational companies on tax implications, under the supervision of the director.
  3. Compliance Documentation: Handle engagements like country-by-country reporting, master files, and local files.
  4. Financial Reviews and Due Diligences: Manage accrual reviews and due diligence processes.
  5. Proposal Development: Draft and manage proposals for new engagements, aligning with client expectations.
  6. Strategy Development: Develop innovative strategies utilizing current and emerging technologies.
  7. Billing and Collections: Oversee billing processes and cash collections within firm criteria.
  8. Technical Expertise: Engage with transfer pricing, tax planning, and complex tax issues alongside directors.
  9. Budget and Staff Management: Ensure projects are completed within budget, manage staff assignments, and inform clients/directors of any overruns.
  10. Quality Control and Risk Management: Adhere to quality procedures, identify risks and opportunities, and exercise judgment within set parameters.
Management Responsibilities

Provide support to directors on client matters, assist in team management, and support recruitment and staff appraisal processes. Collaborate with the national transfer pricing and international tax team, participate in management meetings, and contribute to team development. Train and mentor junior staff, providing feedback and motivation.

Sales and Marketing

Identify business opportunities, participate in bids and proposals, and leverage marketing and PR opportunities. Develop an internal and external network of contacts.

Communication and Representation

Build relationships with clients at senior levels, act as liaison within BDO, contribute to internal training, and consult on technical and risk matters with colleagues and directors.
