Job Responsibilities
To develop and implement value-adding scientific practices and solutions to address unique challenges, manage quality, resolve customer issues, and uphold the Enaex reputation.
Departmental / Operational Planning and Management
- Contribute to the departmental operations plan, understanding strategy, developing projects and KPIs, and submitting plans for approval annually and as needed.
- Report on performance by tracking against targets, identifying concerns, drafting reports, and submitting quarterly and as required.
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate requirements.
- Promote ethical behavior and integrity by maintaining knowledge of compliance requirements, implementing solutions, and monitoring adherence monthly and as needed.
Policy and Procedure Management
- Develop and oversee departmental processes, assess efficiencies, monitor compliance, and implement corrective actions.
- Create and submit policies based on good practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor adherence to policies, identify issues, and address them promptly.
- Manage departmental systems, review utilization, and support improvements.
- Review and update policies based on statutory amendments.
Technical Management
- Manage laboratory testing, quality control, and reporting to support departmental goals.
- Develop analytical procedures, evaluate raw materials, and establish specifications and data sheets, providing recommendations as needed.
Activities
- Maintain laboratory expertise, develop procedures, and stay updated with research.
- Conduct R&D projects to improve efficiency and products.
- Support clients with technical queries, analyzing and resolving issues within deadlines.
- Manage product stewardship tasks, including SDS creation, certification, testing, and documentation.
Budget and Financial Management
- Develop budgets aligned with operational needs and seek approval annually and as needed.
- Track expenditure, review costs, and implement corrective actions monthly.
Risk Management
- Monitor security and disaster recovery measures, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and oversee the departmental risk management framework, review strategies, and drive improvements quarterly.
SHE Management
- Ensure SHE policies are implemented, including training and compliance monitoring.
- Establish monitoring standards, complete activities on time, and resolve issues promptly.
- Review SHE practices regularly, identify noncompliance, and address issues efficiently.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing feedback and collaboration.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, represent the organization, and support industry initiatives.
- Monitor service provider delivery, identify issues, and implement corrective actions monthly.
People Management
- Recruit staff through interviews and performance reviews.
- Manage staffing resources to meet work demands.
- Set performance expectations, monitor delivery, and provide feedback.
- Support staff development through mentoring and skills enhancement.
- Ensure HR policies are followed, and address non-compliance as needed.
