A well-established renewable energy company requires a buyer to procure electronics.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure timely delivery of ordered stock.
2. Implement, monitor, and update procurement programme/schedule.
3. Report on the co-ordination of stock deliveries to management teams.
4. Record and manage tender enquiries and quotations.
5. Manage all supplier-related issues, including payment terms and delivery.
6. Issue Purchase orders.
7. Manage stock levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
8. Build stock models by using sales data over periods.
9. Work with sales to forecast demand and meet orders in a timely manner.
10. Analyse and implement Procurement processes, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs.
11. Manage and control inventory to minimize risk of obsolete stock.
12. Liaise with freight forwarders for clearing and costings of freight.
13. Facilitate stock takes.
14. Add new products and maintain items on IT system.
15. Work closely with suppliers conducting analysis of demand/supply.
