Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inland Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of three sites within our FMCG / Manufacturing business. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or completed CIMA Qualification with a strong background in manufacturing financial management, costing, strategic planning, and compliance within the FMCG, manufacturing sector.

This role is critical in ensuring financial efficiency, cost control, and alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the financial performance of all three sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Prepare and present consolidated financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
  3. Ensure financial statements comply with relevant financial regulations.
  4. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial audits.
  5. Budgeting & Cost Control
  6. Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies to optimize costs and improve profitability.
  7. Manage site-level and group-level budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  8. Provide financial insights to operational teams to drive cost efficiency and revenue growth.
  9. Compliance & Risk Management
  10. Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and internal controls.
  11. Oversee internal audits and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits.
  12. Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
  1. Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations.
  2. Oversee accounts payable, receivables, and inventory financing strategies.
  3. Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize financial efficiencies.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  1. Lead and mentor finance teams across the three sites, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  2. Collaborate with senior management, operational teams, and external stakeholders to drive financial decision-making.
  3. Act as the key finance liaison between the sites and corporate leadership.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or completed CIMA qualification.
  2. 8-10 years of experience in financial management within the Manufacturing sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  4. Experience managing multi-site operations is highly advantageous.
  5. Strong costing experience in Manufacturing.
  6. Multiple sites Management for Inland.
