The role

This is where you’ll be working

As a Technical Service Technician, you will mainly be involved in the following activities:

• Resolving malfunctions in the entire machine park, from conveyor belts to advanced robots and packaging machines
• Tackle improvement projects to make machines more efficient and reliable
• Perform mechanical maintenance, such as replacing bearings, pumps and chains
• Ensure a clear transfer to the next shift, so that everything runs smoothly
• Perform electrical repairs, such as replacing sensors, relays and controllers

What we expect from you

• You have a completed technical diploma and relevant work experience in technology
• You have proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
• You respond to malfunctions and resolve them as quickly as possible
• If there are no malfunctions, you like to work on preventive maintenance on the lines
• You have experience with preventive and corrective maintenance on machines
• You are open to work in shifts
• You speak fluent English and Afrikaans and are willing to learn Dutch
• You are in possession of a valid driving license
