Job description

We are seeking high-performing candidates for the Western Cape areas, including Paarl, Bonnievale, Worcester, Malmesbury, Piketberg, Moorreesburg, and Riversdale.

The TSR will be responsible for sales and marketing of our plant nutrition solutions to current and potential clients within their designated area.

The role requires understanding the crop needs in the area, developing effective farming practices through research, sampling, testing, and solving complex agricultural problems using our unique product solutions developed over the past 60 years.

The TSR will collaborate closely with clients and farmers to provide ongoing support, improve farming conditions, and build long-term relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Grow a new or existing client territory, managing and maintaining relationships with clients/farmers.
  2. Achieve sales targets set by management.
  3. Outline and meet distribution and growth objectives within a specific geographic area through effective management.
  4. Introduce innovative solutions, promote improved distribution, and provide beneficial reports to clients.
  5. Stay informed about market conditions, plan sales efforts, recognize new opportunities, and maintain territory records.
  6. Build trust with farmers through product knowledge, informative presentations, and overcoming objections.
  7. Prepare and circulate sales and activity reports to management.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Matric qualification
  • Diploma/degree and/or previous sales experience
  • Experience as an Agronomist or in agriculture-related sales
  • Experience in the agricultural inputs industry is preferred
  • Excellent oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Decision-making skills: ability to analyze information and evaluate results to make informed decisions
  • Planning skills: ability to develop plans and goals efficiently
  • Ability to identify and exploit new opportunities for the company's benefit
Package & Remuneration

Monthly salary ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 plus basic salary, company vehicle, and commission.
