Purpose of Position:

To assist the Laboratory Manager in managing the overall functioning of the Microbiology Laboratory and to perform bench work.

Requirements:

• Certificate: Management Development (Required)
• HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required)
• National Diploma: Biomedical Technology (Required)

Required Experience:

• Experience in pathology laboratory environment
• Knowledge of HPCSA regulations
• Knowledge of Meditech system
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA)
• Knowledge of Quality Control
• Senior and/or supervisory or managerial experience

Key Responsibilities:
