Job description

To keep the customer's production facilities in good running order, etc.

POSITION INFO: Basic Requirements:
  • Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12 in a technical school with Electrical / Electronics as trade or qualified electrician or studying towards an equivalent qualification
  • Languages: English – Read, write and speak (required); Afrikaans – Read, write and speak (optional); German – Speak (advantageous)
  • Driver's Licence: Code 8- (required)
Experience:
  • 2 Years automotive working experience
  • Knowledge of automated cells
  • Knowledge of PLCs
  • Knowledge of Jendamark production lines and Cat cells
Job Objectives:
  • To keep the customer’s production facilities in good running order.
  • Effective, professional communication to the customer.
  • Comprehensive feedback to the suppliers in case of product failures.
  • High-quality services on customer equipment.
  • Remote support for international customers.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Fix breakdowns effectively with the least downtime.
  • Perform maintenance as per supplier recommendations.
  • Provide good communication and effective service.
  • Present a professional appearance.
  • Add value to the customer's operation.
  • Always use the latest documentation.
  • Attend to internal and external breakdowns.
  • Perform internal and external preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Uphold Jendamark's image at all times when at customer premises.
  • Provide specialist services to customers.
  • Follow ISO procedures.
